MEET THE OWNERS

In 2015, Jamie Ezzell and Tim Holloway co-founded Float Lifts of the Carolinas, an authorized HydroHoist Dealer. Their goal is to introduce a NEW GENERATION OF FLOATING LIFTS to the Southeast Coast.

JAMIE EZZELL was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina and has lived in Wilmington for the past 20 years. He is an avid fisherman with an expansive knowledge of and passion for boats. He has made a hobby of buying and selling boats for many years.

Jamie is a licensed general contractor and the General Manager for an industrial construction and crane rental company with more than 30 years of experience in this field.

TIM HOLLOWAY was born and raised in the Triangle Area of North Carolina. After serving in the Army and returning to the Triangle Area he started a career in welding, industrial construction and maintenance. In 1990, he founded TAPCO Crane and Rigging, which he sold in 2014.

Tim has had ties to Wilmington, Carolina and Kure Beach for the past 15 years. During his career in construction crane rental and rigging he met Jamie, and they became great friends.

The experience of Jamie and Tim in the lifting industry and their love for boats and being on the water is what has led them to form Float Lifts of the Carolinas.
